Righto, I’m going to give you guys and gals an ‘after the dust has settled’ review of TF2, focussing on whether you should buy it and invest time in playing it. We’ll stick a few piccies in from some of my recent games, which don’t really show much except for the pretties, me dying a lot, and some of the gore…
What did you say? “omg it’s been out for more than 2 weeks already!! No point in a reviewz1!!!ONEone”
Well, believe it or not, but it’s only after a game has been out for a while that you get a good feel for whether is it going to survive as a MP game. The initial *lubricated* hype in review sites on the day of release usually don’t go anywhere near to actually telling you whether the game is any good, online, with people! Other factors come into play a little while after release too e.g. is it being supported by the developer, are there servers, is the crowd playing the game so painful that you’ll end up playing Peggle instead? I’m also writing this review as an ‘older gamer’ with limited gaming time, evil offspring, minister for war etc… so I only play games which give maximum enjoyment!
